The process

One clear journey from payment to submission

Each applicant can follow their progress, return through a private link and respond securely if any information needs correcting.

  1. Step 1

    Make payment

The applicant or referring firm starts the agreed payment journey.

  2. Step 2

    Provide details

Give the full name, any former names, date of birth, email, home address and 12-month address history.

  3. Step 3

    Complete the ID check

Provide an accepted photo identity document and take a matching live selfie.

  4. Step 4

    Upload address evidence

Upload an accepted document showing the applicant's current home address.

  5. Step 5

    Manual review

Our team checks the results and evidence, requesting a correction where necessary. We normally submit complete applications to Companies House within three business days of receiving all required information and evidence. Applications from outside the UK may take longer if we need additional evidence or checks on documents issued overseas.

  6. Step 6

    Submit to Companies House

Once satisfied, we submit the verification. Companies House emails the personal code directly to the applicant.
